Plus for this 20th century Studios/Disney juggernaut, at $1,482.5 million worldwide through Tuesday, the epic sci-fi sequel is poised to hit another milestone and will top $1.5 billion worldwide when today’s numbers are factored in. In doing so, it will become the No. 1 global release of 2022, surpassing Top Gun: Maverickis $1.489 billion.

Overseas cumulative up to Tuesday is $1.025 billionafter adding $28.3M in 52 international markets yesterday (down 44% from last Tuesday). wow is the #1 offshore release of 2022 and #2 of the pandemic era.
