During her New Year’s Eve show in Las Vegas on Saturday, Adele confessed to the crowd that she suffers from sciatica.
“I have to waddle these days because I have really bad sciatica,” she said as she moved to one side of the Colosseum stage at Caesars Palace, according to a report by Cosmopolitan UK.

Sciatica affects the nerve that runs through your lower back, hips and back and along each of your legs, and Adele has also been candid about the other back problems she’s faced over the years. “I’ve had back pain for, like, half my life, really,” she said in an interview with The face for its Winter 2021 issue. “It flares up, normally from stress or stupid posturing.
“I slipped my first record when I was 15 while sneezing,” Adele added. “I was in bed and sneezed and my fifth flew out. In January I slipped my sixth, my L6. And where I had a caesarean, my trunk was useless. But where I got my strong belly, bottom, which I never had before, my back doesn’t play as much.
Her health issues haven’t stopped the ‘I Drink Wine’ singer from celebrating another chapter of her ongoing Sin City residency, Weekends With Adele, on social media, posting photos from her final gig of 2022. and writing “Weekend 7 Happy New Year to you and yours,” punctuated with a red heart emoji.
